Description
Luckenbach, Texas, is one of the most-famous tiny towns in the United States, even though it boasts a population of only three people (that's what the sign says, at least). It's only 13 miles from Fredricksburg, and consists of this building that houses the post office and general store, with an area in the rear of the building designated as a bar. While it looks like it's a ghost town, there are daily musical acts at the dance hall. It was made famous when Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson released "Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas" in April 1977; that song went on to top the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles list, and remains a country music anthem.
